How it works

  1. Paste your text into the editor (at least 20 characters).
  2. We count words and sentences, estimate readability, and scan for common AI transition phrases.
  3. You get an estimated AI probability, human score, metrics and a list of flagged patterns to review.

Why use this tool?

Students and writers can quickly self-check whether their draft sounds overly formulaic before submitting to a teacher, editor or LMS. It is free, private for the request, and needs no account.

Important limitation

Unlike full plagiarism platforms, Batooli does not search a web corpus for matching sources. Treat the AI score as a writing-style estimate, not as proof of misconduct.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a real plagiarism checker?

This tool estimates AI-writing likelihood from language patterns and readability signals. It does not crawl the internet to find copied sources. For official plagiarism reports, use your institution’s approved system.

How is the AI probability score calculated?

The score combines detections of common AI transition phrases, sentence-length uniformity, average sentence length, phrase density and long-sentence structure into an estimated AI probability percentage.

Is my text stored?

No. Submitted text is processed for the request only and is not saved to a database.

What is the maximum text length?

You can analyze up to 10,000 words (with a practical character limit). Very short snippets under 20 characters are rejected because they lack enough signal.

Can AI detectors be wrong?

Yes. Formal academic writing, ESL writing and careful human editing can look “AI-like,” and lightly edited AI text can look human. Treat results as guidance, not proof.
