990/1100 Matric, 1012/1100 Intermediate, 172/200 MDCAT. That is 90.00%, 92.00% and 86.00%. Weighted parts: 9.00 + 36.80 + 43.00. Aggregate: 88.80%.

Frequently asked questions
Is 10-40-50 the official MDCAT merit?
It is a familiar pattern, not a law. Some colleges follow it closely; others add provincial or institutional rules. Treat the preset as a starting point and verify the current notice.
Does MDCAT weigh more than FSc?
In this example split, the test is 50% and Intermediate is 40%, so a weak MDCAT hurts more than a similar drop in FSc. A strong paper can still lift a mid-range Intermediate.
Can I enter FSc Part 1 and Part 2 separately?
Yes. Turn on that option on the form. The two parts are added before the 40% Intermediate share is applied.
What if my MDCAT total is not 200?
Type the official total for your sitting. The calculator uses obtained ÷ total, so any honest total works.
How do I see the MDCAT marks I still need?
Use Reverse calculator with your Matric, FSc and a target aggregate. It returns the minimum MDCAT percentage and marks, or says the target cannot be reached.
Is this page only for MBBS?
The same 10-40-50 idea is often discussed for BDS and other medical seats, but each list can differ. Change weights if your college says otherwise.
